Had 5X but lousy time.Mawfever was in your neck of the woods all last week. (At least I assume your from East Tennessee) Trees were pretty but sure is dry. Snowed on Newfound Gap Tuesday and was in the 70s yesterday. Well as they say here if you dont like the weather wait 30 minutes and it will change..

Used to enjoy playing this game but I have to agree with some of the others about the difficulty now. Im lucky to get through the first level without a devil and if I do I usually get one in the second level. Lately it seems like I get two devils in one game more often than not. Dont think Ill be playing as often if at all. Will probably go to another web site..

Really enjoy this puzzle. You people that get such low scores are awesome. You must be able to look at the puzzle and immediately see all the answers. I on the other hand have to work out the answers one at a time..

Had a great day yesterday made up for it today. Alaskamom love visiting your state. It is my all time favorite place in the states to visit although I do love the Smokies where Im going today to stay the week. Hope the leaves are changing more there than they are here..

Enjoy this game. My scores are never that good compared to others but I play for the enjoyment and to try and beat my own times. At my age I like doing things to keep my mind active..

Once again I failed to get a 5X. The last few days have been hard for me. Today typing had a lot to do with it, but also had trouble with some words and didn't read the entire clue so was looking for a snack instead of the company..

Boy, do I feel dumb. After looking at 1 across again I see the word. I was reading it as one word instead of a compound word. Duh!.

Mawfever, I miss the times when my sons had friends over. My youngest could never stay at home on weekends unless somebody was staying with him. Now they are all out of the home and I only get to have my granddaughters over occasionally. Enjoy it while you can..

Got stuck on 2 down and misseed a 5X today. Hoped a few days in the mountains would help but didn't seem to. At least I had a good time while away, watched a Christmas parade, drank hot chocolate and enjoyed time with friends..

Good question JIXIR. I've often why anyone gets any enjoyment from posting a score when it was gotten by cheating. To me that takes all the fun out of it. Also, was it just me or did the medium puzzle feel easier than the easy puzzle?.

I'm not very good at this, but I give it one try and then go to the next puzzle. Some people feel the need to be first not matter how they do it and so they may cheat. There is one puzzle that will allow you to post scores only once for the day, at least there use to be. I wish all were like that..

I got them all and without a hint. For me that's as great as when some of you that are good at this get it in less than 30 seconds. Got snow here in Middle Tennesse at least where I live, nice sticky snow so all the trees are coated and look like post cards..

Wow! My best score ever. Want make the top ten, maybe not the top 50 but I'm happy. We got about 3 inches of snow at my house in Smyrna last night. It's a sticky snow so the trees are beautiful and enjoying it. For here it's a real treat to get any snow. Good luck to all on today's puzzle..

Has been a great day for me two 5X. One here and one in Daily Jumble. Got to enjoy it while I can, doesn't happen very often. Beautiful day out today, we got about 3 inches of snow here in parts of Middle Tennessee. All the trees are look like postcards. Don't get snow here very often so enjoy it when it does..

Made 5X by one second. Couldn't believe I got messed up on the clue about the hawk. Guess that's what threw me, didn't realize it is part of the hawk family. A beautiful bird, got to watch one fishing in the Tetons one summer..

Got stuck on 3 down but still managed to get a 5X. Feels good after messing up on the jumble, but I always do better on the crossword than the jumble. Expecting an ice storm here tonight, hopefully it won't be as bad as the one all you in the north east have endured..

Yea, I wasn't last when I posted my score to the easiest puzzle, wasn't first either, but I did it in less than 7 minutes which is great for me. When I'm having trouble and my son is here I get him to help me but I did it all by myself today..

Isn't it amazing how some see a puzzle and think it's easy and others think it's hard. This is one of the few puzzles that I did without a hint. I usually get 8 then need hnts on the final 2 but not today..
