Good game today after yesterday's puzzle left me squirming for an answer. srt..I did not check the shucks on the corn this year or the color of the wooly worms but it seems to be getting colder too soon. I will come out of hibernation when the spring thaw arrives. The people up north probably think I am foolish, buat I like it warm. .

Hint...When I first found this game I played it over and over daily. This way I familiarized myself with the game. After a few weeks my scores got better. I am never first but I play for myself. I blew it today and only got in the 50's. Snow flurries in Tn much have frozen my brain..

NoAL and MidTN are usually having the same weather. My daughter's heat went out yesterday and I worked with repairmen all day. Did not want the baby coming home to cold. I missed the 5000 today. .

Srt...This is one of my favorite. I makes me be logical and quick. I usually score in the 30's and if I do better I am shocked. I have always heard the expression "it was so good it made me wanat to slap my grannie" I just added the wet dishrag. Old sayings from different areas are always cute, I think..

Good AM. Got all words but missed 5000 a little. I am slow spelling out the words in my head. The "credit" word got a lot of people yesterday. I guess with the economy like it is we have heard that word on TV more than we have "direct". Ii hope everyone is secure in their jobs and homes. .

My arthritis is acting up this AM. I knew the words but my joints were too stiff of work fast enough to keep up with my brain. I am glad that part of me works right. Glad to see SK holding the banner high. I am sure the KOOT will rise to the top. .

When it says that on the bonus there is only one word i think that it means that they will accept only one word. I made another and it would not accept it. I kept trying to make it take it to no avail. Missed the bonus and got no credit for my word..

There was no "scathing" words today so I do not have to "lambaste" anyone. I had to look them both up in the dictionary. I have used them but would not have connected them. My vocabulary is improving in my old age. I hope to see lots of 5x's today..

KTKF I finally got back to the 5x. I do not know what has been the matter with me. I think I may have been trying too hard and got myself jumbled. I am going to try to zone in on the letters and not the timer. Rain and cold weather is supposed to be coming to my area. We need the rain but I could live without cold..

Alaskamom.. I have had 2 boxers. One was the greatest dog I ever owned. I rescued one from an abusive situation. She was not the best dog but she lived the rest of her life in a happy home, running free on grass and not concrete. .

The reviews have already picked up now that SK and WK have returned. I just wish my fingers would un-jum so i could un-jum the words. The pun today was easy. I was like the men in the pic. I was bored working the election with so few voters in our area. Small communities do not have the lines like the other large metro areas. .

I was right below you this AM. you were down to 7th when I finally got up to play. You do late at night and I do early AM. I was late this AM. I worked at the polls yesterday and a 14 hour day is long. A small county like ours does not have many voters and it makes the day go long. .

Our church has a trunk or treat for everyone in the community. We had hot dogs, cupcakes, nachos, popcorn, snow cones, lots of games and candy given out of trunks. Lots of fun and not much running around..

I finally had a decent score today. thanks for all the tips on my mother. She has a frig full of food to choose from when I am gone. She has been told to stay off the stove if no one is home. I have home health coming twice weekly, PT 3 times and a cleaning lady comes once a week to clean for her an cook. I think I will have an electrician come and put in a switch so I can turn the stove off and she won't know what to do. She can balance her checkbook to the penny. she is still sharp..

I sure hope the cruise is fun. The reviews are certainly missing the remarks of SK and WK. KT KF I think I am going to start doing this game later in the day. I have really been messing up lately and I don't know why. My mother has burned 3 pans while I have been gone. She is going down hill since her surgery and I may be more stressed out than I realized. I keep the frig full and the microwave would be so much safer..

It has been a few days since I got all the way through. It was not a fantastic score but I made it. I thought I was messed up because the doc told me to limit the caffeine. The AM's have not gone as well, but maybe I am getting over the Need for caffeine so early in the AM. .

i knew the bonus words but like you Alaskamom i did not get it typed in time. The spelling of the first bonus word messed me up too. I knew it and spelt it wrong several times, then my fingers took on a mind of their own. .

Only one more daily to go and most have been good. The DC was a perfect score. Rodeo got my son a college scholarship in WY. He rode professionally for a few years. He started a family and needed to make more money and stay home. He now raises bucking bulls. He has had a few good ones. .

Alittle over a minute. That is improvement for me. Glad to know someone else sees the deer as pest. A few are okay but they get over populated and they are all over our crops. I don't hunt but lots in my family do. My granddaughter can't wait till she is nine and can go on a hunt. They all love the meat and save all they can. .

I was way off the 5x today. 2 little girls spent the night with me and they always find their way to gran's bed. Little sleep makes it hard in the AM. Rain is over in Tn but we could take some more. Srt. we must not be too far from each other. We have had the dry weather for two years now. I hate crunchy grass and dry ponds. The leaves are changing here in TN but maybe not as vibrant as usual due to lack of water. The smokies should be better..

I guess I am stuck just missing the peerfect score. If I know the words I fumble finger it. All 5 kittens are doing well. I have got to start finding homes. All the grandchildren have picked out their favorites and want me to keep them. I do not want to be like some of those old ladies you hear in the paper who die and they find a house full of cats. One or two would be plenty. .

I sure don't want my brain to completely freeze up. We have ahd a few small frost here in the south but not freezes yet. We are still so dry that even snow sounds good. Bundle up Alaskamom. I don't know if I could take that much cold. .

My mom is 86 and before she was born there was a surprize birthday gathering for my great-grandmother. Families came by wagons for the day. We still have a reunion each July. She is long gone and all of her children has passed. There are only about 6 grandchildren left but most of those still come with their families. Lots of food and old pictures. My daughter refered to it as Cheek pinching time..

My jum-puter is going bananas. the letters are jumping into the wrong squares. the mouse is blinking on and off. I think it is time to throw it in the moat and get a new one. But my frig, dishwasher, and stove vent had to have a repairman yesterday. Can not afford and more repair bills. My car is on its last legs and I was hoping to wait till spring for a new one. I need some really large bandaids to hold them altogether for a little while longer. .

SK, I do not understand the stone problem. Some have to have operations and other just pass them. A couple in my church have passed over 100 stones in the last 2 years. Is is diet, genetics or just bad luck? KT KF Kittens all have good lung capacity. Under my bed is not going to work. Dragons beware the slayers will be throughout the castle in a few weeks. .

KTKF...Glad to hear good news WK about SK. I checked back a few times yesterday to find out about the procedure. But I came home to meows under my bed. I spent the afternoon watchin 5 kittens. Mom and I are doing well but need to find a few castles interested in dragon catching cats. An orange one has already been named Peaches by the granddaughters because of her color. Her mom is named Pudding. I may have to keep Pudding and Peaches together. Good health and a speedy recovery for SK. .

I think my scores have gone sour. The doc thought I had k-stones this summer but I was having no pain. Then they found a mass in my bladder. After a multitude of invasive testing nothing was found and the first x-ray was wrong. Weeks of test and worry....but I am happy that I know that part of my anatomy is okay for now. No junk mail will come today. It is Columbus Day. Have a good one..

I am improving but still no 5x day. Boys, I live in a valley surrounded by mountains(you would probably call them hills) which are very dry. We have had only a small rain since July. We do not have the high winds like Calif. and other mountainous areas. SK, I pray your surgery is successful. WK, take care of SK. All the hayrides are over and I do not want to see a marshmallow or a hot dog for a while. .

If I read the reviews first I would be down to a 1x before I got started on the game. Alaskamom, I had to turn down 3 sub jobs in our schools this week because I was too busy. I love to go back and connect with the students. They always have so much insight and liveliness that it revives my spirit. I hope I can sub (but not too much) for several more years..

Laura, my mom is 86 and has lived all her life with an irregular heart beat. She has had 2 operations this year and is probably in better health than me. I hope your sons problems are as easy as my moms to take care of..

I have no cranky hubby but I scored over 5000 also. You stay up late in Alaska to play and I get up before the sun in Tenn. Everyone have a great day. I overloaded myself with "jobs" for the day so I must get with it. .

I remember it being built. I was in high school during the cold war. We have a No. 3 down in our community coming up to some of the houses. It has not bothered any pets or any of the farm animals that I know of but I am watching my garbage cans at night. Something likes my scraps..

I guess we needed it to wash all the bull that was left behind. Why can a politician not talk straight and answer a question simply. Both were guilty of that as far as I was concerned..

Boysrus...I was an English teacher then switched to SPED. I would teach freshman English in summer school. It would make me realize just how much I loved my SPED classes. Those students were so loving and apprciative it made teaching a pure joy everyday..

I had a decent game today but not outstanding. I am envious of the beautiful fall colors. We are so drought stricken in this part of Tenn that I doubt our fall will be colorful. The mountains around me are dry. McCain and Obama are in the state today for the debate and the weatherman is calling for rain. If they brought it in I hope they stay for a while..

My score was awful today. I think I was trying too hard to be worthy. I must try to be myself. Hang in there laura. I have had two in my family interviewed like that. They were accepted for their assigments with the governmant concerning foreign affairs. I am supportive of any young person who wants to serve their country in such a vital position. .

this game is is hardest one for me of my morning daily games. As a teacher I taught my students to try various solutions to rule out the wrong answers but in this game you are penalized for trying and I can not seem to visualize it in my head. .

I am glad to see it was hard today for everyone. I got up too late to play before I had to leave for work. I thought my bad scores were just my messed up day. I needed some excuse! It ws cold in the soutgh this AM and I covered my head and went back to sleep. Made it in time to see my students today but I was bunfuzzled all day long. Tomorrow I stay home..

After reading the reviews by boys and alaskamom I had to go back and play that game again to see what word two was that day. I remember but I thought Umping was a word and tried that. (The ump was umping the game.) Don't impugn me for making that mistake..

Did good on my daily games yesterday. I had a great day shopping then came home to find that my elderly mom had decided she needed prunes!!!! and put them on to cook. She sat in her chair and fell asleep. A neighbor came and cleared out the smoke. She ate the burned prunes anyway. They worked. I thought you all needed a good laugh for today. Have a good day..

Either I am really good for me today or the puzzle was easy. Thanks boyrus. Each day is getting much better. I am going to do all my homebound students today. The housekeeper will stay with her today. I am almost back to normal and I have never been that. I think it if funny how the simplest of remarks are bleeped out. I am not ashamed because I am not a trash mouth and I think most people on here are not either and mean well..

I Finally got a good nights sleep and my score of 34 showed that fact. My mom is doing well according to her doc and nurses but according to her she is not. I am going to leave her for a while today with neighbors to check in. My special needs homebound students are missing me and I am missing them..

39 today for me. Thanks for thinking of my mother. At 86 she did very well in her surgery. I will bring her home this morning. Being a spoiled rotten only child was easy when young but rough when you get older and have no siblings. .

i do not score 200,000 a lot because it takes a long time to do that. i cannot get my computer to load the high score page most of the time. My computer is like me...old and worn out. I like this games because it keeps my hands and mind active. most of the time i do the short quick games.after you score about 70,000 it gets easier but my old computer starts slowing down on me. .
