Doing so nicely...q for the final letter revealed. Grr! 10th looks really nice but Im on the early side of the Atlantic so many of the high scorers are still sleeping. Ill fall waaay down once they play..

All atremble for the great party. I found the loveliest green velvet gown at Secondhand Roses emporium in the hidden valley. Im off to the shoe repairer to see if he has any unclaimed dancing slippers I can buy cheaply. Will the new moderator be an inhibiting factor - some may want to behave immoderately on such a festive occasion. KT KF.

I was doing so well for me 3 7-letter words then the bonus word just wouldnt "hold" - the letters refused to anchor themselves where I wanted them - darn. Still good to be back to my own country and my own computer. Just a bit jet-lagged.To all Canadian jumblers - VOTE!.

not good for me either - the bonus word snuck up on me but fortunately it was an easy one then I was left with several letters at the end. Did a bit better on the other jumbling games. Have a happy and healthy week everyone..

Congratulations to your family alaskamom. I have quite a bunch of grandkids saw 4 of them today all decked out for Halloween. Its wonderful being involved in their lives. Watching all the milestones and seeing family likenesses and traits is great. I was adopted as an infant so it intrigues me to see all these people who look a bit like me..

This KOOT had a wretched score this morning, no feathers in my helmet. The oxcart of samples for the improved chairs for the oblong table arrived in the wee hours, so my mind is full of lovely textures and colours. The jumgators will be relieved to hear I absolutely vetoed any animal-derived fabrics..

Iowachee, very busy feeders here in southern Ontario too. The ground feeding birds are having a hard time; I keep trudging through the snow to toss more seed down for them. They must all use so much energy just getting food when it's so windy and snowy..

Wow, over 5,000 in Word Vault and 5x on DJ and Jumble Crossword. An unusally auspicious start to the day. Must be all the fine food and company at my family Christmas feast yesterday. Lots of little kids, bigger kids, and 3 pregnant extended family members, expecting 4 girl children between them. But there was sadness too because a 21 year-old cousin of the grandchildren is in a coma after a disastrous hockey accident; prayers and good thoughts for him would be very welcome..

A bit like pulling teeth today, but I'm at 45 at the moment, better than I expected. The cold little cat nose at the hand all the time didn't help. She must be smelling the candied yams I've just made...third time this Christmas. This batch is especially good, maple syrup! .

wk:Jumgators are distant relatives - I was named by grandkids years ago when they could only say lamma and my hands were rough from much water-time when they were tiny! They're more polite now but I kind of liked the name. I'm less inclined to snap off fingers then the ones in the jumble swamp! Greet them for me next time you're gallivanting around the swamp. It's frozen solid in my part of the kingdom..

Thanks howdypez...I had no idea the seasons etc were worth more. Still didn't do well today but it makes the game more interesting when you know the rules! .

srt41, the young cousin of my grandkids passed away last week after three weeks in a coma following a devastating head injury during a hockey game. He was 21. An absolute tragedy for his family. He was a fine young man, university student and senior level hockey player. It is just so very sad. Thanks for asking. .
