Jumble® Crosswords | Nov 9, 2008
The thumbs down is for the high scores list which is pointless. Rank seems to depend upon the time of day that one plays. When I submitted a score that was the highest possible, my name came at the end of the list of those who had scored the same. I had played at noon, and by the end of the day I was in the middle of that group but my ranking number was the same. In most things where a tie is possible, all who are part of the tie share the #1 rank..

The game is great but the scoring is a huge thumbs down because it is completely unfair. Rank should not be subject to the time of day the player chooses to play! In today's list the 2 0:17 sec players should be sharing the rank of 4. The 4 0:23 sec players should be sharing 8th and the 3 0:28 sec players should be sharing 12th..

why, when I was solving the final puzzle, did the game take an L from the word wall to put in berlin, instead of taking the L that was available in the scrambled letters? Why should it matter which L goes where?.

Re: Oct 6 A fun puzzle, but do you have to include the answers in the clues? Couldn't 17 down have read: Garden of ___?.

#6 across: C=A: really novel!.

I love the joke that the bonus word: WINUSE creates when solved..

When titrating an acid to determine pH, the reagent is the base added to bring the solution to neutrality. Litmus indicates when this change occurs. The amount of reagent (base) used allows for the calculation of pH..

Litmus paper is an indicator not a reagent!.
Jumble® Word Vault™ | Sep 7, 2008
Loose the timer! Or at least make an option to just play for fun..
Crosswords³ | Sep 5, 2008
Today's (Sept 5, 2008) puzzle is unduly hard because board 6 is incorrect. The clues listed 40, 41, & 42 should be 41, 42, & 43. The clue for 40 should be something implying Russia and there is no number 43 for the last column. .

An absolutely horrible re-creation of the Maxis original..

I too have found other seek and find games more enjoyable. My biggest complaint is that the program seems to be a pixel hunt. I was docked 3 misses before it condescended to acknowledge that I had indeed found an object. Beyond that items should be properly identified! Calling a bellows an air blower is not acceptable in this type of game..

Enough with the timers! As someone said in a review of a different game, use points to rate performance if you must. Timers belong in arcade games. If I want to take five years to solve the first puzzles that should be MY option! I am uninstalling the game and I strongly recommend that no one purchase it..

The online game would be better if the timer was completely synchronized with the game. For almost a minute the game was unresponsive (no moves were possible). When it began responding again, the timer docked me the elapsed time of the freeze..

This would be fun if you could continue solving the puzzles beyond the turn limit (take away all points or something). Because the letters on the board are randomly generated, the puzzle difficulty has a large element of luck. This makes the game a question of "How Lucky Are You?" and totally frustrating..

Mistressperry: Click on start on the main menu. Under the Level picture (top middle) is a slide bar. Sliding this to the left will take you to previous levels. Replaying the earlier levels several times helps build cash for the shop. To solve certain levels you have to replay them a couple of times before you get a solvable configuration..

I would love to know how a couple of reviewers got their game saved at levels 12 and 22. I played through level 61 (about 8 hours with the game open) and lost all the progress when I exited the game. When I reopened the game, I was at the beginning with all but level 1 locked. Having to complete a long game like this in a single session is just not possible in real life. Adding save capacity would change my rating from thumbs down to several thumbs up. It is a lot of fun otherwise..

Might be fun if banners would disappear after a bit and the game didn't freeze in mid level.
The Golden Path | Aug 31, 2006
This would be a great game is you didn't have to replay all the boards from the beginning when you make a mistake. Either a password to access levels or a way to save game progress ought to be a feature..

An hour and a half to download the data to launch the game using broadband (cable modem)? It seem their server is narrower than a singularity..
