Farm Frenzy 2 | Sep 22, 2008
Lots of silly fun and addictive too. Bananamonkey try looking on the desktop. If its not there check your browsers Options button; itll usually tell you where it downloads stuff..
Teddy Factory | Jun 6, 2006
Fun at first but soon becomes so frustrating you want to put a fist through the screen. Bleh!.
SpongeBob SquarePants™ Obstacle Odyssey | Feb 26, 2007
Not a bad idea but there are no instructions anywhere. Just a little more work on interface and itd be lots of fun..
Amazing Finds | Oct 15, 2008
Yes way too short. Bander -- use the inventory item you picked up on the first level..
Agatha Christie™ Death on the Nile | May 24, 2007
A brilliant combination of a gripping story and a fun puzzle. I couldnt stop playing. More like this please!.
Agatha Christie™ Death on the Nile | May 26, 2007
Ms. Charlotte -- The eye is on the wall at the back behind the swinging pendulum. Dont forget to use the hints -- click on the "5" at left to have the game show you the next thing youre looking for..
Agatha Christie™ Death on the Nile | May 27, 2007
To do the rainbow look for wedges of various colors and put them in the pie-shaped piece in the right spots -- violet between blue and purple for example..
Private Eye | Jun 6, 2007
Love the concept but the pictures are blurry and the items VERY hard to find..
Amazonia | Jun 6, 2007
A pleasant addition to the three-in-a-row type games. Best part is the hilariously bad English -- makes me want to keep playing just to see how gloriously they mangle the next description!.
50 States - Shockwave Edition | Jul 9, 2007
Fun and educational; limited replay though. Was expecting to be asked to place state capitals as a second round. Next time maybe?.
Jewel Quest® II | Jul 9, 2007
Tight time limits make the higher levels irritatingly difficult. Story is too badly written to keep this essentially monotonous game from being mind-numbingly dull..
MONOPOLY | Jul 9, 2007
Beautifully done with great graphics and gameplay -- but it does remind me why I stopped playing Monopoly as a board game. Increasing the dollar amounts doesnt mean its a different game; it just has more zeros in it..
Mortimer Spooky Manor | Aug 7, 2007
Fun searching game with the twist that the things youre looking for are broken into pieces. Enjoyable game with a fun story; yes very short but obviously intending to make more. Sure hope they do!.
Escape From Paradise | Aug 7, 2007
Would like to rate it halfway between thumbs up and down -- thumbs sideways maybe? Enjoyed the game and played obsessively till I got to the last puzzle which doesnt seem to work. Feh!.
FizzBall | Sep 14, 2007
Fun and funny. Love the kid version -- how lovely to make a game like this in a no-more-tears version!.
Go-Go Gourmet | Feb 15, 2008
Brilliant combination -- and the first Diner Dash-type game Ive ever been able to finish! More like this please!.
Secrets of Great Art | Oct 28, 2007
A well-done hide & seek game with some beautful artwork and an odd and intriguing story. But Im getting a little tired of stories that end in the middle. If you want to make a sequel call the first one "Chapter 1" or something please?.
Zenerchi™ | Oct 28, 2007
Great idea but it got too hard too fast for me. Would have LOVED to see a non-timed no-panic mode of play; as it is though its too frustrating to keep..
The Scruffs | Nov 16, 2007
A fun and silly addition to the hide & seek genre. Love the weird story and characters and the mini-game requires a surprising amount of concentration. Well done!.
Lucky Clover | Dec 16, 2007
Not nearly interesting enough for anyone over the age of 6..
Hide & Secret: Cliffhanger Castle | Jul 15, 2008
Agree with the majority -- puzzles too hard story too idiotic. Id have put up with hard puzzles for a good story or a bad story for good puzzles. The combination is fatal..
Build-a-lot | Jan 11, 2008
Would like to qualify the thumbs up -- the game is very enjoyable and quite addictive but the short time frames for the Career mode are ridiculous. Result is Im now about 2/3 through totally hooked and totally unable to win or even progress in the game. Frustrating!.
The Great Tree | Feb 12, 2008
Lovely and addictive fun -- and harder than it seems at first. Definitely worth the download..
The Clumsys | Jul 24, 2008
Finally an intelligent and logical seek & find -- looking for stuff that doesnt belong rather than just random foofaraw. And with a sense of humor too! More like this please!.
Nancy Drew®: Curse of Blackmoor Manor | Mar 12, 2008
Brilliant -- what a coup! Yes its one of the harder of the Nancy Drew games but well worth the effort. Play and get hooked!.
The Count of Monte Cristo | Apr 5, 2008
Definitely not the best of the hide & search games. I applaud the idea of adding in the classic stories but Monte Cristo is NOT one thats workable here and not really suitable for kids..
Val'Gor - Dark Lord of Magic | Oct 10, 2008
An enjoyable variation on the find-the-differences game and a good way to sharpen my visual skills. Nice to have a game without a frantic pace to it..
Daily Jumble® | Oct 1, 2008
Oh well back to my usual garbage score today. WK keeping you both in mind today..
Build-a-lot 2 | Apr 29, 2008
Count me in. If this is your new business model Shockwave it STINKS. Keep it up and youll lose us all..
Mysteriez! | Apr 30, 2008
Not a bad idea but it repeats after level 10 (sigh). 14 in the bathroom is just under the towel..
Escape the Museum | May 10, 2008
One of the harder seek & find games Ive played. The items are hidden to the extent that theyre functionally invisible until theyre pointed out and sometimes after. The unlimited hints and mini-games are the games saving grace but its still more frustrating than it needs to be..
Picture Pyramid | May 10, 2008
A good idea but too much repetition to make it replayable. It only plays full screen which is annoying if the game freezes (as it did on my system)..
Daily Jumble® | Oct 12, 2008
Why is it only when I get a perfect score that my score refuses to load? Oh well never mind. Extremely cold night here (NV); waiting for daylight to see if my pipes froze because gardener scoffed when I suggested we turn off the drip system last week..
Cooking Dash™ | Oct 1, 2008
Make that a thumb sideways. A good game just like all the other Diner Dashes but it offers nothing new at all. I was hoping for more cooking and less serving..
Farm Frenzy 2 | Sep 16, 2008
Much fun and very addictive. Those wretched bears -- !.
The Mystery of the Crystal Portal | Aug 14, 2008
I like hidden object games but this one requires you to first spend a lot of time pixel-hunting to find the random object that will show you what youre looking for. Unnecessarily frustrating! And quite annoying to hang in there through all that then discover a lady-or-the-tiger non-ending. All in all Im rather glad it was so short ....
Ancient Quest of Saqqarah | Aug 13, 2008
I dont normally like match 3 games but this one did a good job of finding varieties of the same idea to keep it interesting. I agree though that it went on about 50% longer than my interest level..
Daily Jumble® | Oct 23, 2008
Wow--final pun is really lame today. Re: the b-word it occurs in one of the Narnia books. Remember the three Bulgy Bears?.
Yummy Drink Factory | Sep 6, 2008
Anneelizabeth -- Yes you should see the machine; check out the screenshots. Shockwave doesnt read the reviews so if you want a response from them click on "Please click here to report it" on the Write a Review page. Good luck!.
Daily Jumble® | Nov 23, 2008
sskkccc that happens to all of us now and again. Very frustrating!.
Let's Get Cookin' | Nov 21, 2008
Fun game though too short. Should also be noted that you cant really use these recipes in the real world -- one cup of rice needs at least cups of water not one..
Daily Jumble® | Nov 25, 2008
Up long before the crack of dawn to catch a holiday plane, so I know my mediocre score won't stand at #7 for long -- but it feels good for now. Excelsior!.
Mortimer Beckett™ and the Time Paradox | Dec 2, 2008
Much like the first Mortimer Beckett game -- searching for pieces of things and reassembling them. Lots of fun, but a little short. I just wish I'd waited to get it here instead of buying it from another site!.
Fugu The Blow Fish | Dec 2, 2008
A good idea, but it's too hard to maneuver Fugu with the mouse. I played for ten minutes, then uninstalled in irritation..
Hospital Hustle | Dec 2, 2008
The usual dash-type game, but with a quirky sense of humor that reminds me of the old "Theme Hospital" game. Anyone for a case of Bloaty Head?.
Daily Jumble® | Dec 6, 2008
Oh, cah-rap, brain not working at all these days. Arf! Well, better luck tomorrow..
Daily Jumble® | Dec 8, 2008
Only needed one hint today, so a tiny hurray for me. Maybe I should wait to do the Umjble until I've had my morning caffeine, ya think?.
Paradise Island | Dec 8, 2008
Interesting idea, but their categories are a bit wacked. What does beeswax have to do with a circus?.
Daily Jumble® | Dec 16, 2008
TK72, thanks for the info! I've often had to forfeit a game when the phone rang -- nice to know there's an out..
Daily Jumble® | Dec 19, 2008
I'm thinking the last two letters were I-T, you think? Odd that they didn't show up, though. .
Detective Stories: Hollywood | Dec 27, 2008
Well ... not that great, really. Pieces are harder to find than most and times are shorter, and there's no option to play it without the time limits. The story is really lame and the ending is anti-climactic. Fun trying to spot who the stars are, though..
OPERATION Mania | Dec 27, 2008
Very fun and funny until I got to about level 8, when it suddenly got much too difficult for me. Can't you make a game with a baby setting for wimps like me?.
Daily Jumble® | Dec 28, 2008
Not a great score, but at least I finished. Word 1, in case it's unfamiliar, is the chicken equivalent of a steer -- very large and tender, when you can find one..
Rollercoaster Rush™ | Dec 30, 2008
Fun little game, and harder than it looks. Sure glad I don't have to really ride coasters like that..
Season Match 2 | Jan 8, 2009
A lovely pastoral game, quite low-key and relaxing, and the story is engaging. One problem is that the mouse action is a little sluggish -- but I'm enjoying the game enough that I don't really care..
The Color of Murder | Jan 9, 2009
I like brain games, but this one has far too much pixel-hunting to qualify. Love the idea, but execution still needs some work. And give us a way to shut the horrible droning "music" off!.
